Pakistans blind cricket team was accorded a warm welcome on its return from South Africa after clinching the T20 series at Lahore Airport, Dunya News reported on Tuesday. The members of blind cricket team association chanted slogans and showered the team members with flower petals at the airport. The team managed to score 517 runs in 40 overs and defeated SA with 399 runs. Talking to media, the teams captain Abdul Razzaq has said that he never hoped to set a world record in SA, but added that the players hard work bore fruit. However, he complained of governments indifference regarding the plight of blind players, saying that neither they are promoted nor regularized.
