On the fourth day of the second test at Adelaide Australia have made 238 runs for the loss of 4 wickets and it requires 137 more runs to avoid an innings-defeat. Earlier England had declared their first innings at 620 runs for the loss of only 5 wickets. England resumed its innings on 551 for the loss of 4 wickets on day 4 of the second test. Kevin Peterson made a superb 227 runs before getting out. Paul Collingwood scored 42 while Ian Bell managed to score 68. Matt Prior remained not out on 27 runs. England declared its innings with a lead of 375 runs. Replying to the huge total of England, Kangaroos made 238 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.
