The first test between Pakistan and South Africa ends in a draw; courtesy responsible batting by Younas Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq, Dunya News reported on Tuesday. In the first test between the two nations South Africa made 380 runs in the first innings while they declared their innings at 318 runs for the loss of two wickets. Hasim Amla, Jacques Kallis and the skipper Graeme Smith scored centuries for their side. On the other hand, Pakistan could only manage 248 runs in their first innings including respectable contributions by Younas Khan and Muhammad Hafeez. Morne Morkil snatched 5 wickets for his side. Pakistan, while chasing a difficult target of 451, made a good start of 75 and later Azhar Alis 63 runs proved to be a handsome contribution towards avoiding defeat but Younas Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq proved their mettle by playing responsibly. Younas Khan was declared Man of the Match for his unbeaten 131.
