LAHORE (Dunya News) – International Tennis Federation (ITF) on Friday has decided to hold Davis Cup tie on Sri Lanka’s neutral ground instead of Pakistan.
The federation has rejected Pakistan’s appeal to hold the tournament in the country.
According to the ITF, Davis Cup tie was a home series for Pakistan while China and the federation was ensured fool-proof security.
Despite re-assurances, Davis Cup tie has been shifted to Sri Lanka. The tournament will be held in Colombo from March 4 to March 6.
