Spot-fixing: Wajid says players are innocent

Pakistan High Commissioner to UK Wajid Shamsul Hassan on Thursday asserted that the players alleged of spot-fixing are innocent. He stated these views during a press briefing in UK outside Pakistan High Commission. Replying to a question regarding the dropping of Muhammad Asif, Amir and Salman Butt from the national squad, They are not in right frame of mind to play; the trio is upset over the accusations Wajid said. No team was to come, Wajid replied to a question about FIA teams visit to UK. Regarding passports of the trio, he said that they are with the team management.
