China - Chinas Lin Dan cruised into the semi-finals of the Asian Championships on Friday with an impressive win over Thailands Boonsak Ponsana 21-15, 21-10.Super Dan took just 39 minutes to breeze past the Thai and looked in top form as he continues on his quest to win a second Olympic title at the upcoming London Games.The 29-year-old four-time world champion, five-time All England winner and reigning Asian champion will meet compatriot Du Pengyu in Saturdays semi-final after he dispatched Huan Gao, also of China, 21-10, 19-21, 21-16.Six Chinese players were among the last eight in the mens singles, while seven Chinese women were playing in the singles quarter finals of the event, one of the last major tournaments before the Olympics.The host team also dominated the quarter-finals doubles fixtures.Although Lin and Chinas reigning world womens singles champion Wang Yihan have already qualified for the Olympics, other players are competing for valuable qualification points for London.In other matches, fourth ranked Li Xuerui of China beat Cheng Shao Chieh of Taiwan 21-7, 21-12 in the womens singles, while in the mens singles second seed Chen Long from China beat compatriot Wang Zhengming.
