Due to negligence of the district administration, relief goods worth million of rupees accumulated for the flood victims has not been distributed while thousands of flour bags have started detriorating. The relief goods were brought and stored in the ware house in Multan for the flood affected people, Dunya News reported on Tuesday. It was learnt that the Red Crescent Society also gave a huge quantity of quilts, mineral water bottles, biscuits and flour bags. All the goods were stored in the ware house but due to unidentified reasons the goods were not distributed amongst the needy and the affected. Infact the goods have started deteriorating especially the flour bags. EDO/R Multan Javed Akhter has said that the flour bags were not distributed amongst the flood affected people but they were provided with cooked food. Before this incident Duna News had pointed out such type of incidents in Mandi Bahauddin and Jahng but the provincial government did not pay heed to those news.
