A mother sold her son for Rs22 thousand to meet up with the expenses of her husbands illness.Syed Tahir Muhammad an Imam by profession in Sargodha is suffering from cardiac problems for the last 10-years. Initially the family sold their furniture to meet up with the expenses of his disease. Earlier during the year Rs22 thousand were spent on the illness of Tahirs son Abdullah. Tahirs wife, Nusrat unable to meet up with the expenses of her sons illness sold her child to Khalid who brought the child to Lahore to his sister's home.Nusrat while talking to Dunya News informed that her family is passing from severe economic hardships. She also informed that she has two daughters both of whom are Hafiz-e-Quran, while two of her sons are in the process of becoming Hafiz-e-Quran.
