Rawalpindi: Filipino woman freed from husbands captivity

In the area of Gunj Mandi, Rawalpindi, police managed to free a Filipino women and her two daughters from her husbands captivity; where as her husband was later arrested.Filipino woman Alina informed police that her husband Asad has captivated her in the house and tortures her as well. Police then raided a house in Aqaal Garh, Gunj Mandi and recovered the woman along with her two daughters and also arrested her husband. Alina then told Dunya News that her husband used to torture her and the children but her in-laws never helped her in this regard. She also told that Asad has also acquired 3.5 million rupees from her and when she asked to return the money, she was severely tortured. Alina said that she will contact the embassy of Philippines for help.
