Summary
A quackster gave a bottle of acid as medicine instead of syrup to the parents of a fifteen months girl. The infant girl received burns and injuries. The incident was reported in the area of 598 Gaf Bay. Firdous was taken for medication by her parents to the quackster who gave her parents a bottle filled with acid instead of syrup for her remedy.Firdos parents tried to feed her the syrup but it fell on her and burnt her face and body parts. Firdous was rushed to hospitals in Faisalabad where doctors concluded that 25 percent of Firdous face has been badly burnt and will require surgery.
