Summary
A dacoit was killed while another got injured in a police encounter in Shorkot, Jhang.On a tip off, police raided Shorkot, however, the robbers repulsed the attack and in the ensuing fire a dacoit was killed while another wounded. The police also seized two Kalashnikovs, 6 magazines and rounds of shells. DPO Jhang Dr Rizwan said that around four accomplices of the dacoits managed to escape, and added that raids are being conducted for their arrest.
