Dead body of a newly-born baby remained in the manhole at Faizabad Chowk -- an adjoining chowk to Rawalpindi and Islamabad-- for many hours, but the police officials of both the cities did nothing instead clashing with each other on area jurisdiction. Police officials of the twin cities stayed in their boundaries and did not take the dead body, even on the call of people. Desperate people then called Rescue 1122 team which reached the scene but waited the decision of police officials. After passing many hours, Rescue 1122 team took the dead body with them. According to Sadiqabad police station, Faizabad area was in the jurisdiction of Islamabad police. However, Islamabad police denied the claim. After taking the dead body, Islamabad police accepted that Faizabad area was in their jurisdiction.
