Police arrested seven suicide attackers from Mainwali and recovered heavy amount of explosive and suicide vests from them, Dunya News reported on Monday. The suspects are also involved in Chawal Imambargha and DG Khan Khosa market suicide blasts, according to police officials. Police raided on Ghairabad quarters near Harnali Mor check post and arrested three terrorists whereas other four terrorist were arrested from different parts of city. RPO Sargodha Javed Islam told media that 400 Kg of explosive, 10 suicide jackets, 16 detonators and weapons were recovered from the arrested suspects. These terrorist are also involved in the attack on Shaukat Aziz, according to RPO. The terrorist wanted to destroy DPO Mianwali office and were also planning to attack the major cities like Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Sukkur. Imran, Sajjad Akhtar, Sher Zaman, Amanullah, Muhammad Amjad, Mehboob and Irfan are among the arrested whereas Nasir Abdullah, Abu Obaid alias Irfan, Ziaullah, Niaz alias Qari Usman were succeeded in escaping.
