Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has challenged the decision of the Lahore High Court (LHC) against the demolition of plazas. The LHC has adopted the stance saying that illegal plazas are being demolished on the decision of the Supreme Court. The demolition work has been temporarily been stopped after the decision by LHC. Justice Sakib Nisar after processing on the application has called in the plaza owners on the 18th of Jan.LHC Justice has issued a bail prior to arrest order of former LDA Director General Abdul Rashid.
