Karachi: Court gives 7 alleged criminals in police custody

A local court in Karachi ordered to give 7 alleged criminals including Taliban leader Saeed Anwar alias Maulvi in police custody on body remand. The alleged culprits were presented first in City Court and then in Maleer Court under strict security. Cases have been registered against the accused under blames of keeping illegal arms, explosive material, murder attempt and police encounter. Accused Saeed Anwar gave statement in court that they were arrested 10 days ago and they had no links with terrorists while police are torturing them constantly. The accused said that the recovered arms were forcefully placed by Akhtar Khan.
