3 dacoits, 2 policemen killed in Jahaniyan

Three dacoits were killed while inspector and constable martyred and two others got injuries in police encounter in Thatta Sadiq Abad area of Jahaniyan. According to police sources, police raided in a nearby village No. 135 after getting information about the presence of a gang; the dacoits entered into the house of Rana Liaquat and held his family hostage. Sub-inspector Ali Jan and constable Waqas were martyred by the firing of dacoits while constable Tariq and Akram sustained severe injuries. In retaliation, police killed three dacoits Bhai Iftikhar, Imran and Rashid while their father Younas Kharo and his two companions Intizar and Dost Muhammad surrendered themselves. Police told that the killed dacoits were demanded in more than 150 cases.
