Summary At least three people were killed in the city in different firing incidents on Monday.

 

QUETTA: One man was gunned down while three sustained severe injuries in sectarian killing in Aspani road on Monday.

 

As per details, unknown motorcyclist opened indiscriminate firing on a vehicle resultantly one man was killed on the spot while three persons Hassan Raza, Muhammad Arif and Latif sustained severe injuries. The criminals fled from the scene successfully.

 

On getting information, police reached on the spot and shifted the dead body to Bolan Medical Hospital for autopsy. After completing legal formalities the body was handed over to his heirs. However, police claimed it was a sectarian killing incident.
Later on, police registered the case against unknown criminals and started thorough investigation.

 

In another incident, some unidentified motorcyclist opened unprovoked firing and shot dead one person in Katchlak. In the area of new Katchlak Bazar some armed personals opened fire on man namely Jumma khan resultantly he died on the spot. The criminals escaped successfully from the spot.

 

In another incident, a man committed suicide by shooting himself in the area of Fatima Jinnah road due to some undisclosed reasons.

 

Police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital for autopsy while after completing legal formalities it was handed over to his kith and kin.
