The Lahore Police has seized hundreds of rifles, pistols and revolvers and arrested several persons during a crackdown against illegal arms dealers. Addressing a press conference, DIG Investigation Lahore Khurram Dastgir told that all the arms shops in Lahore were being searched. The seized weaponry had been used in several robberies besides possible terrorist activities, he added. The DIG vowed to make the city crime free and maintain record of all the arms dealers at police station level. He maintained that the crackdown would continue till the accomplishment of desired results.
