Summary Farmers marched against water logging from Trimmu-Sidhnai link canal.
PML-N MPA, Mian Muhammad Rafiq, led the protest demo.Addressing massive public gathering outside TMA office Jhang Road, leader of the march along with leaders of the farmers board claimed that due to water logging the water is running form the fields and this would effect the next cropping.The resolution demanding not to exceed water supply from 500 cusecs in the canal, construction of approved lining of canal and to implement orders of allotment of land to dozens of landless growers of Pirmahal Village was adopted unanimously by the public gathering.Moreover, the gathering also prayed for the early health recovery of Malala Yousafzai.Mehr Khalid Sargana (PML-Q forward block MPA) and MPA Ghulam Jaffar form Khanewal also joined the march.
