MIRPURKHAS (Dunya News) - The commissioner of Mirpurkhas Division has issued a notification imposing Section 144 for 15 days in Mirpurkhas, Umerkot and Tharparkar to maintain law and order.
According to the notification, gatherings of five or more people, protests and rallies have been banned, while prior permission has been made mandatory for organising such gatherings and activities.
The notification also prohibits blocking roads, obstructing routes and disrupting traffic flow. The display of weapons, ammunition, sticks and other harmful objects has also been banned.
The administration has further prohibited provocative speeches, hate slogans and the dissemination of inflammatory content on social media.
The restrictions aim to maintain law and order across the division and ensure public order.
