ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from his Kuwaiti counterpart, during which the two leaders discussed the latest regional developments and matters of mutual interest.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, the Kuwaiti foreign minister expressed deep concern over the ongoing attacks on Iran and voiced hope that all parties would exercise restraint.
During the conversation, both foreign ministers reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the full implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The spokesperson said the Kuwaiti foreign minister appreciated Pakistan's efforts to promote dialogue and regional stability, while Ishaq Dar stressed the urgent need for de-escalation of tensions.
The two leaders also agreed to remain in close contact on issues of mutual interest.
