Summary Punjab prepares Marka-e-Haq victory celebrations with tribute floats, free concert and performances honouring Pakistan armed forces in Lahore.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Preparations are underway to celebrate the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq victory on the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Managing Director of Parks and Horticulture Authority Raja Mansoor Ahmad said the authority has installed decorative floats outside Racecourse Park to pay tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces.

He said the purpose of the floats is to highlight the bravery and courage of the Pakistan Army, adding that the armed forces delivered a strong response to the enemy on May 8.

Raja Mansoor Ahmad further said the Azm-e-Aalishan concert will also be held at Liberty Chowk at 8pm, featuring performances by renowned singers.

He added that entry to the concert will be free for the public.
