Death toll from PICs spurious drug intake tops hundred as another person died in Lahore today.

Muhammad Asghar, resident of Baghbanpura died at Meo Hospital.The number of heart-patients who fell victim to reaction of free medicines provided by Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) has crossed hundred with dozens more on deathbeds in various hospitals of Lahore.The large-scale causalities have sparked severe reaction from the families of the deceased who are demanding exemplary punishment to those responsible for the provision of fake or substandard drugs from the PIC pharmacy.
