India, Israel's misleading anti-Pakistan propaganda exposed after Sydney attack

15 people were killed and around 40 others, including two police officers, were injured in a terrorist attack on the coast of Sydney, Australia
SYDNEY (Dunya News) – Misleading propaganda by Israel, India, and Afghanistan against Pakistan over terrorism in Australia’s city of Sydney has been exposed.
It is worth recalling that 15 people were killed and around 40 others, including two police officers, were injured in a terrorist attack on the coast of Sydney, Australia. One attacker was killed in police retaliatory action, while another was arrested in an injured condition. Explosive material was also recovered from a car near the scene.
Israeli and Indian media, along with social media platforms, made unsuccessful attempts to link the incident to Pakistan. The Israeli newspaper Jerusalem labeled the attackers as Pakistanis under a coordinated agenda without verifying the facts.
Social media accounts linked to India’s intelligence agency “RAW” also launched a toxic propaganda campaign against Pakistan, following a pattern similar to India’s Pahalgam false-flag narrative.
According to Pakistani records, there is no evidence that individuals named Sajid Akram and Naveed Akram are Pakistani nationals. Pakistani officials in Australia have also stated that there is no information confirming their Pakistani nationality.
Indian media and social media are falsely claiming that Sajid Akram traveled to Australia on a tourist visa. In reality, Sajid Akram arrived in Australia in 1998 on a student visa, which was converted into a partner visa in 2001 after he married an Australian woman named Warina. A statement by Australian Home Minister Tony Burke confirms these facts.
Reports further state that Sajid Akram has been a member of an Australian gun club for the past 10 years, and six licensed firearms were recovered from him.
Sajid Akram’s roots trace back to Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province. Terrorism is a global issue, and Afghanistan has become a hub for it. The firing carried out during the incident resembles the modus operandi used by the Afghan Taliban in similar attacks.
