LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, strongly criticized a political party in Pakistan, calling it a “political devil,” while addressing the media in Lahore.

He claimed that his party’s electoral victory in Muzaffargarh was legitimate but said a win in Dera Ghazi Khan was unfairly converted into a loss. He warned that Pakistan is passing through a highly dangerous phase due to both internal and external threats.

Bilawal alleged that India is actively conspiring against Pakistan and is attempting to promote terrorism within the country, while also highlighting growing security challenges from Afghanistan. He stated that terrorists cross borders, attack Pakistani forces, and then return to safe havens, creating serious national security risks. He praised Pakistan’s armed forces for defending the country and fighting terrorism on multiple fronts, and said separatist elements inside Pakistan are being supported from abroad.

He also criticized political forces that, according to him, are running campaigns against military leadership, especially on social media, during sensitive times. While he opposed outright bans on political parties, Bilawal warned that attacks on military installations are unacceptable and could lead to legal restrictions. He rejected calls for governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but cautioned that disrupting counter-terrorism operations could worsen the situation and create constitutional crises.
