Summary An increase of Rs 5 to 6 is expected in the per litre petroleum prices.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority is preparing working paper for increase of Rs 5 to 6 in petroleum prices.According to sources, the increase in petroleum prices is inevitable after four percent rise in crude oil price in world market and 1.2 percent gain in dollar value against Pak rupee.The sources said that 8.5 percent increase in per litre petrol prices and three percent rise in diesel prices is expected. Whereas two percent rise in kerosene oil prices and six percent increase in furnace oil is expected.
