Summary Senate passed resolution to register treason case against ex-president Pervez Musharraf.

According to sources, the Senate unanimously passed resolution to arrest former president Pervez Musharraf and to lodge a treason case against him under Article 6 of the Constitution.The resolution said that Pervez Musharraf was responsible for assassination of Nawab Akbar Bhugti and Benazir Bhutto. Musharraf launched military operation in Balochistan and kept the judges in house arrest, the resolution said.It was also stated in the resolution that Musharraf handed over the Pakistani airbases after signing written agreements with United States.The resolution was tabled by different political parties.
