Veteran PPP leader Lal Muhammad Khan passes away

MALAKAND (Dunya News) – Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former federal minister Lal Muhammad Khan has passed away after a prolonged illness.

According to sources, Lal Muhammad Khan served multiple terms as a member of both the National and Provincial Assemblies and was also a senator during the tenure of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He had been associated with the PPP since the early days of his political career.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of the veteran PPP leader, praying for the elevation of his soul and patience for the bereaved family.

Governor Kundi said that Lal Muhammad Khan dedicated his political life to public service, and his contributions to the PPP and people-centered politics in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and across Pakistan will always be remembered.
