Doctors and medical staff held a strike over not implementation on New Service Structure.

Doctors and paramedical staff from Islamabad marched towards D Chowk and stressed the government to act upon on the promises made with doctors.All the OPSs of allied hospitals of the federation remained closed due to protest.A large number of doctors from PIMS and Policlinic, paramedical staff and non-medical staff marched towards D Chawk where they observed a sit-in at the D Chawk and demanded the government to implement on New Service Structure without any delay.Protestors also said that health professionals scale bill moved in the National Assembly should be withdrawn and BPS Grade system should be implemented once again.Protestors said that hospital would be autonomous after implementation of this bill and they would be unable enjoy their official status.
