ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will leave for Bangladesh on a two-day official today (Saturday)..
Ishaq Dar is undertaking this visit at the invitation of the Bangladeshi government.
In Dhaka, he will hold important meetings with various Bangladeshi leaders, including Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, and Adviser for Foreign Affairs Md Touhid Hossain.
The whole range of bilateral relations and a number of regional and international issues will be discussed during these meetings.
Earlier, Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to grant visa-free entry to each other’s diplomats and government officials.

Following the agreement, holders of diplomatic and official passports from Bangladesh will be able to travel to Pakistan without obtaining a visa, and the same privilege will be extended to Pakistani officials traveling to Bangladesh.
The deal was finalised after gaining policy and final approval from the Advisory Council Committee during a meeting held at the Chief Advisor’s Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka.
Bangladesh has entered into this agreement with Pakistan for a period of five years. Previously, Bangladesh had similar visa-free arrangements with 30 other countries. With Pakistan now added to the list, the total has risen to 31.
