Iranian foreign minister is on Pakistan visit with President Masoud Pezeshkian
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday held a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan-Iran relations.
Iranian foreign minister is on Pakistan visit with President Pezeshkian.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed to focus on regional stability, enhanced trade, and greater economic cooperation.
The discussion also included ways to promote bilateral engagement in key areas of mutual interest.
Earlier in the day, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called on PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz upon his arrival in Lahore.

The three-time prime minister extended a warm welcome to the Iranian president upon his arrival at Lahore Airport along with CM Maryam Nawaz.
The visiting president expressed his gratitude for the warm reception.
A formal meeting between the Iranian president and Nawaz Sharif took place in the airport lounge.
CM Maryam Nawaz was also present in the meeting.
Following the reception, chief minister accompanied the Iranian president to the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal.
Before leaving for Pakistan, President Pezeshkian told the media in Tehran that key discussions with Islamabad will focus on border security and regional peace.
