Pakistan
Expresses hope that the judiciary will uphold the principle of equality
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Senator Irfan Siddiqui has asserted that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with its conspiracies couldn’t sabotage government’s efforts for developments and progress.
Parliamentary leader of the Muslim League (N), Senator Irfan Siddiqui criticised the PTI for its failed attempts to hold large gatherings in Islamabad, pointing out that PTI had a history of using propaganda and conspiracy theories to gain political advantage.
He emphasised that the law would be applied equally to all prisoners, with no exceptions and referenced the events of May 9, stating that politicians should not create instability in the country, as PTI had done.
Irfan Siddiqui stressed the importance of impartial courts, asserting that the judiciary should make decisions based on the constitution and law.
He expressed hope that the judiciary would uphold the principle of equality in the enforcement of the law, ensuring the fair and transparent delivery of justice.
In response to a question, Irfan Siddiqui made it clear that there would be no leniency shown to PTI and no deals made with them.
He also clarified that Nawaz Sharif's recent trip to the United States of America was solely for personal medical check-ups, during which he would spend 2 to 3 weeks.
In answering another question, Irfan Siddiqui criticised PTI's stance on Palestine, noting that when a resolution was passed for Palestine, PTI did not take it seriously and refused to sign it, calling this action shameful.
