ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - First lady of Pakistan and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Aseefa Bhutto demanded relief for the farmers and common man in the federal budget.

She was delivering her maiden speech in National Assembly on Sunday during the ongoing budget session.

“Do the people of Pakistan deserve this anti-people budget,” asked the PPP leader.

We’ll have to do something to provide relief to the common man, she added.

“We have to provide facilities to the poor citizens. We have to work for the prosperity of the country and the nation,” she said in her budget speech.

According to PPP leader, Sindh is without electricity these days in this scorching heat.

The people of Sindh are facing 15-20 hours loadshedding in a day and we should do something to provide relief to the masses, she added.
