Senator dismisses rumours of a possible deal between PTI, military establishment
(Web Desk) – Senator Barrister Ali Zafar on Wednesday maintained that the lawyers who attacked Khawar Maneka on the sessions court premises in Islamabad had no affiliation with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
The PTI leader, in an interview with a private news channel, said that the licences of those involved in the incident should be revoked, adding that no lawyer had the right to lay hands on anyone.
On Wednesday, PTI lawyers assaulted Khawar Maneka on the premises of District and Sessions Court in Islamabad during the hearing of the illegitimate marriage case involving PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, Maneka’s former spouse.
Senator Zafar also dismissed the rumours about a possible deal between the PTI and military establishment, saying there was no deal of any kind, nor would there be one.
