Iddat case: Court to announce verdict on Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi's petitions on May 29

Court reserved verdict after hearing both parties
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad's district and sessions court on Thursday reserved the verdict on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi’s petitions against sentence in iddat case.
The reserved verdict will be announced on May 29.
Earlier today, the case hearing was adjourned until 1pm.
Islamabad district and session judge Shahrukh Arjmund heard the pleas filed by Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
During the hearing, PTI’s counsel Usman Riaz Gul and Raja Rizwan Abbasi’s assistant counsel appeared before the court.
Assistant counsel stated that Rizwan Abbasi was set to present arguments but he hasn’t pocessed record.
Judge inquired from the Usman Riaz Gul about his arguments, he informed that he would take 10-15 minutes for arguments presentation.
Judge Sharukh Arjmund ordered Rizwan Abbasi to appear before the court in any condition and present the arguments through video link by sharp 1pm today.
