PM Shehbaz greets Buddhist community on Vesak festival
(Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended warm wishes to the Buddhist community celebrating Vesak festival on Thursday (today).
“May this day bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to all. Let’s celebrate our shared heritage and continue working towards mutual respect and understanding,” the prime minister wrote on his X timeline.
Vesak also known as Vesakha, Buddha Purnima or Buddha Day, is a major festival of followers of Buddhism which marks the birth, enlightenment and death of Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.
