Afghanistan government will prevent use of its territory against Pakistan
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - There has been a surge in terrorism-related incidents in Pakistan through Afghan soil and security forces have neutralised 29 terrorists during operation in Zhob district of Balochistan in one month.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of army, security forces conducted operation due to infiltration of terrorists in Pakistan from Afghanistan border.
The operation was launched in Sambaza in Zhob district of Balochistan on April 21 last. As a result, 29 terrorists were killed during a month in security forces operation.
Maj Babar Khan embraced martyrdom while fighting terrorists with bravery on May 14. The ISPR stated that Pakistan security forces were determined to protect borders, ensure citizens' safety and end menace of terrorism.
The ISPR said Pakistan had urged the interim Afghan government to form effective border management system and it was expected that they would act with responsibility.
The Afghan government would take action to not let terrorists use its soil against Pakistan, it added.
