ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat Saturday visited Barrister Gohar to end differences after a show cause notice he received from his party for giving a statement against Barrister Gohar.
The PTI leaders hugged each other at a party office and pledged to build better relationship.
PTI chief organiser Umer Ayub had issued a show cause notice to Sher Afzal Marwat, demanding an unconditional apology for issuing a controversial statement against Barrister Gohar.
A video featuring the two leaders smiling and hugging went viral on social media. Their ties turned sour following the Marwat’s statement against Gohar.
Marwat had said Barrister Gohar Khan was “removed” as the chairman of PTI for “unsatisfactory” performance.
His remarks came a day after Gohar announced that the PTI’s next chairman nominee is Barrister Ali Zafar. The party's internal elections are scheduled to take place on March 3.
