PTI chief faces prison because of his own mistakes: Bilawal
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said if the PTI founder is innocent, imprisonment should not be his fate.
Addressing the media after attending the hearing on the presidential reference against the death sentence of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Bilawal urged a fair perspective on history. "There is a need to correct the historical narratives," he added.
Bilawal also highlighted a specific clip played in the Supreme Court, expressing hope that after twelve years, justice will prevail for the People's Party in Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's case.

Bilawal Bhutto called upon the Supreme Court to correct its institutional image, citing the Bhutto case as a unique option.
Responding to the Senate's recent resolution on election postponement, Bilawal Bhutto urged people to prepare for voting. He stressed timely elections even if the resolution is endorsed by the United Nations.
He reiterated the Chief Justice's assertion that elections are slated for February 8, stressing the weight of the Chief Justice's words over a few senators.
Criticising the PTI founder, Bilawal Bhutto urged a self-examination of institutions, recalling the rejection of papers in 2013 during the launch of the PTI chief. He called for acknowledgment of mistakes and a corrective shift in attitude.
Bilawal Bhutto supported future politics sans personal ego-driven sentiments, urging the PTI founder to question the fairness of punishing the politicians similarly.
