BRT outstanding arrears: Private company issues notice of suspension

Company wants immediate release of Rs 56 crore
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - A private company issued a notice regarding the potential suspension of the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service due to outstanding arrears.
In a letter addressed to Trans Peshawar, the private company has requested the immediate release of outstanding arrears amounting to Rs 56 crore.

A spokesperson for Trans Peshawar admitted the receipt of the letter from the private company.
The BRT officials have also indicated that discussions are currently in progress with the finance department to facilitate the settlement of these arrears.
It is expected that the required funds will be paid by the finance department in the near future.
