FIA offloads three passengers for travelling on fake visas
Suspects had paid an amount of 2.5 million rupees each to the agent for fake visas and stamps
LAHORE (Web Desk) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) offloaded three passengers en-route to Greece on fake documents on Wednesday.
The suspects were travelling to Athens on fake visas and FIA took prompt action on the airport premises. The travelling agent was also arrested from the airport.
The suspects Muhammad Zubair, Waheed Akhtar and Asad Daniyal were scheduled to depart on flight number EY242 over fake visa documents.
The FIA officials also arrested the travelling agent named Muhammad Dildar.
Fake travel documents and fake stamps were also recovered from the agent while his mobile phone was also seized.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects had paid an amount of 2.5 million rupees each to the agent for fake visas and stamps.
The suspects have been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore for further action.
