Mobile phone service to remain suspended in Islamabad on Muharram 9
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The ministry of interior on Thursday decided to suspend mobile phone service in the capital city on the 9th of Muharram.
The decision was taken on the request of Islamabad Chief Commissioner and the ministry wrote a letter to the PTA to suspend the service.
Sources said he service would be suspended in procession areas only, adding that the service would remain suspended in sector G-6 and G-7. “The service will also remain suspended in Shah Allah Ditta and Baram Imam,” sources added.
