Constitutional steps will be taken if Parliament's limits are violated
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif, disclosed on Wednesday that the party was not engaged in any negotiations with the opposition at present.
Speaking to journalists at the Parliament House, Khawaja Muhammad Asif emphasised that conflict always resulted in loss and the PML-N did not desire any conflict between institutions.
He refrained from predicting the outcome of such a conflict, stating that losses incurred would depend on the situation.
Khawaja Asif clarified that there were no ongoing negotiations with the opposition party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He assured that the boundaries of the Parliament would be safeguarded, and no one would be allowed to impinge on the powers of the Parliament.
