Marriyum Aurangzeb calls PTI's era ruinous, claims PDM's one year as success

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday called the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s era from August 2018 to April 2022 harmful for the country’s economy while also labelling the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s one-year rule as successful.
Taking to Twitter, she compared both tenures while mentioning during the four years of PTI, flour increased from Rs35 to Rs100, LNG was purchased expensively, development project on electricity projects halted, CPEC projects came to standstill, while also 20 million were added below the poverty line.

On the other hand, she claimed the PDM’s one-year rule as successful mentioning Orange train was given subsidy, utility stores’ performance improved, power projects started, people-friendly budget presented and the Benazir Income Support Programme was revived.
The minister added that due to the proactive approach of the PM, various initiatives had been started like laptop scheme and prime minister talent hunt programme.
