Siraj stresses need for adopting Islamic system
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) emir Sirajul Haq said on Friday that no nation under debt could progress.
Addressing a Seeratun Nabi Conference, Mr Haq said the country had no strategy in a bid to get rid of loans, adding that in the country, the policies of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank were applicable.
"All the institutions of the state are facing deficits, including the Steel Mills, Railways, and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA),” he lamented.
He made it clear that the country has no option but to adopt the Islamic system.
