Imran Khan reaches ATC under human shield cover

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan reached the Anti-Terrorism Court under the cover of human shield in an unprecedented way.

Former prime minister Imran appeared in Lahore's Anti-Terrorism Court and sought bail extension in three of the cases filed against him. It can be seen in the video that Imran Khan's face and head have been protected by a bulletproof helmet while guards were holding bullet-proof shields to protect him.
It should be noted that Imran Khan was attacked during a political rally in Wazirabad in which he was seriously injured. Since this incident, Imran Khan's security has been beefed up.
Imran Khan had also stated that he has no trust on the incumbent government and urged the Supreme Court to provide him security.
Also, while talking to foreign media earlier, the deposed premier claimed that there was a threat to his life from the interior minister. Expressing his views over the cases against him, Mr Khan said, "I am having no issue appearing before the court in connection with the cases against me." But there is a threat to my life."
