ECP dismisses plea against allotting election symbol to PTI
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday dismissed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) plea against allotting election symbol to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) general elections.
ECP allotted bat election symbol to PTI and Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha of PML-N requested not to allot election symbol to PTI.
ECP allotted election symbols to 127 political parties including lion to Muslim League (N), arrow to People's Party parliamentarians, kite to MQM, lantern to ANP and bicycle to Muslim League (Quaid).
