Poor man struggling to get subsidized flour loses life

KHANEWAL (Dunya News) – A poor man, who was in a queue to get subsidized flour for his starved family in Khanewal district, died due to cold weather on Thursday.
The unfortunate incident took place in Seraiy Siddhu area where one Sarfraz of Mohsin Shah locality came to a shop to buy flour. He kept waiting [for hours] to get the subsidized flour. Later he fell unconscious and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead by a doctor.
The local administration paid no heed to the situation as long queues of people were seen at different flour points in the wake of shortage of subsidized flour.
