PTI huddle reviews Elahi's trust vote issue
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Amid the ongoing uncertainty in Punjab’s power corridors, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders on Tuesday discussed the party’s decisive plan to dissolve the Punjab Assembly and Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi’s vote of confidence issue.
Deposed premier Imran Khan presided over the party’s meeting at his Zaman Park residence in Lahore to discuss the country’s political situation and assemblies’ dissolution issue. Former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Azam Swati, Fawad Chaudhry and other party leaders participated.
The PTI chief was briefed on the performance of the party in the assembly as 21 bills were passed by the treasury benches on Monday. Imran Khan appreciated the performance of the PTI’s Punjab Parliamentary Party.
