Sharif brothers never did any productive work, says Elahi

LAHORE ( Dunya News ) – Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi called Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif "skillful in malfeasance" and said they had not done any productive work for Pakistan.

Dishonest rulers, he said, brought bad luck for the country. He said the country would not be able to find honest and straightforward ruler like Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, and the master plans for the country started during the government of PTI.

The CM laid the foundation stone of Samanabad underpass and cricket stadium. Provincial minister Mian Aslam Iqbal and the Lahore Development Authority director general gave briefing to him. Former federal minister Hammad Azhar, the secretary information and the commissioner Lahore division were also present.

Mr Elahi said almost Rs2 billion would be spent on the project of underpass which would reduce the flow of traffic and lives of people would become comfortable. He said there would be a cost of almost Rs600 million on the Samnabad cricket stadium which would provide opportunity to the youth to display their talent. He said the Punjab government was leaving no stone unturned to improve the lives of the people. He also compared PTI chief with the Quaid-e-Azam.
